Upper Lachlan Shire Council (ULSC) will begin the first stage of the bitumen resealing program on Monday, December 3 and continue until March 2019.
Selected urban streets in the villages of Breadalbane, Collector, Crookwell, Gunning and Taralga will be affected, as will sections of local, rural and regional roads.
ULSC general manager John Bell said residents and businesses that would be directly impacted by the work will be advised via a letter-box drop.
“Motorists should be aware that minor traffic delays may be expected while this important work is carried out safely, to standard and without unnecessary delay,” Mr Bell said.
“Being a rural council, the community is heavily reliant upon our transport network to access a variety of business, education, health and social activities.”
These works will ensure our roads are safe and accessible for the local community and wider travelling public, he said.
Residents have been advised to take additional care when travelling on recently completed roads and obey advisory signage and traffic control arrangements.
