The ticket is worth $10,000.

“It was definitely a local.”
Before the newsagency was notified about the winning ticket, the person had been in to claim their prize.
They were taken to a quiet place in the newsagency to be told, Ms Scott said.
“They were very excited.”
Davies Newsagency has previously sold a second division prize in Powerball worth $96,000, also at Christmas time.
This prize was never claimed at the newsagency, and Ms Scott said that they never found out who it went to.
