The Crookwell Community Garden will hold a workshop to educate the community and keen gardeners on how to build a worm farm and discover the job of the worm.
The same day the committee will build a compost heap from recycled materials.
The workshop will be held on Sunday, January 20 at 9.30am.
Morning tea will be provided using produce from the garden.
Guests have been asked to bring along some green waste or vegetable scraps for the compost bin or worm bath.
“The little worms are vegetarians so no meat scraps.”
This will be the first of many educational and hands-on days in the garden.
