Chloe, has won a family pass to the Taronga Western Plain Zoo for her submission on guinea pigs.
She will be able to visit the giraffe calves: A male giraffe calf named Akachi - meaning hand of god in a West African language - was born to mother Tuli on January 16, 2019; A female giraffe calf named Volta - a lake in Africa - was born on January 28, 2019 to mother Asmara.
School aged children were asked what their favourite animal was and why for the chance to win a family pass into Taronga Western Plain Zoo and Tarlaga Wildlife Park.
It was judged by the Taralga Wildlife Park owner, John Stafford, he said that Chloe's entry about guinea pigs read that guinea pigs made her giggle, and he thought that guinea pigs would make lots of children giggle.
Briah added a drawing of a penguin and meerkat and was awarded an entry pass into Tarlaga Wildlife Park, which opened in July 2018.
Congratulations, winners!
