By Wednesday, they had raised $255.65 to help fund the Cancer Council's life-saving research, prevention, support programs, and information services.
The council's acting general manager Andrew Croke said that the council has supported the morning tea for the last 19 years.
"Like most people in our community, many of our staff have been impacted by cancer in some way, so it is a cause close to our hearts," Mr Croke said.
"Australia's Biggest Morning Tea is a small way we can contribute to the fight against this terrible disease."
The Gunning Library will also host a morning tea from 10.30am on Friday, May 31. No bookings are required.
