Liquor and Gaming NSW data compared profits for venues in NSW in the latter six months of 2018.
The data showed clubs made $9.1 million on their machines, and hotels in Cowra, Upper Lachlan Shire, and Weddin made $689,270.
Compared to the same period in 2017, profits for clubs increased by $400,000.
April Gay, general manager of the Crookwell Services Club says, a percentage of this goes to the community.
"Our club sponsors a variety of community groups and sporting clubs and provides the local community annually up to $20,000 in cash and in-kind contributions," Ms Gay said.
The Services Club ranked 626 in the state out of 1094 clubs.
The Taralga Sports Club ranked 947, and the Crookwell Golf Club ranked 1025.
The Mount Pritchard and District Community Club (Mounties) made the highest profit with 615 machines.
There are two hotels with gaming machines in the Upper Lachlan Shire; Crookwell Hotel Motel 'Top Pub' and the Telegraph Hotel in Gunning, ranked 1011 and 1176, respectively.

Liquor and Gaming NSW's latest reports covered June 2018 to November 2018 for clubs and July 2018 to December 2018 for hotels.
Venues across NSW made $2.02 billion at clubs and $1.32 billion at hotels.
Compared to the first half of 2018, across the state, the number of gaming machines in operation fell by 303 in clubs and hotels.
However, the net profit increased by 4.1 per cent for clubs and 13.4 per cent for hotels.
The total number of venues with gaming machines fell by 47.
