Several centimetres of snow fell, including in Goulburn, Taralga and Crookwell.
The Crookwell to Goulburn Road (MR54) remains entirely closed. Police said the road was closed at 1.30am when the snow started falling.
The Laggan to Taralga Road (MR248E) is also closed for safety reasons.
The State Emergency Services and the council's crews had not reported any damage to public infrastructure at 8am this morning, the Upper Lachlan Shire Council's acting general manager, Andrew Croke said.
A sheep graziers warning applies to the Southern Tablelands.
Further updates will be published on the council's Facebook page and website.
