- Friday, July 19, 10am to 2pm, Uniting Hall (Methodist School) 56 Chapel Street, Dalton.
Grab friends and get involved at the Dalton Youth Day for young people aged under 25, or under 12 bring your parents. Hang out and have a free lunch at the Uniting Hall and join in the fun and games.

For older kids this is a chance to discover University, as well as an University information stall, there will be information about youth programs and events.

Snow play
- Thursday, July 11, 11.30am to 12.30pm, Crookwell Library. Cost $5 or $10 for a family. Phone 4832 1048.
For children aged five and older. Visit the Crookwell Library and create a snow wonderland. The Library staff will assist you to sculpt a character from modelling clay and a snowy landscape. Then finish off your masterpiece by placing it all inside of a jar.

For children aged eight and older. Visit the Crookwell or the Gunning Library and learn all about the brilliant bee. Work with experts of Landcare to find out about where bees live and what they eat. This free event is sponsored by the Upper Lachlan and Gunning District Landcare groups.
Vacation program
The Crookwell Neighbourhood Centre offers a vacation care program for primary school aged children each weekday of the school holidays.
Each day different activities will be held at the Crookwell Public School hall, or kids will be taken on an excursion, between 8am-6pm.
The cost, $60 per day, is covered by the government's Child Care Subsidy Scheme, additional charges may be incurred.
- JULY 8-12
Monday: Kids can learn all about science and conduct experiments.
Tuesday: See a feature film at the Goulburn cinemas and then explore a mega obstacle course in a trip to the Jump Arena at the Veolia Arena (weather-dependent). Cost: $30.
Wednesday: Fun and exciting sports and games.
Thursday: Get creative and learn how to tie-dye. Children need to bring an old white t-shirt, tea-towel or pair of socks to cover in groovy swirls, stripes and patterns. There will also be a trip to the Crookwell Library. Cost: $5
Friday: Love cooking? Learn this useful skill and prepare a delicious treat. Cost: $10
- JULY 15-19
Monday: A fun and educational trip to the dinosaur exhibit at the Botanical Gardens, Canberra. Cost: $30.
Tuesday: Kids present their amazing talent in OOSH's got talent.
Wednesday: Read the Guinness World Records and watch Officially Amazing.
Thursday: Dress up and learn about different cultures for multicultural day. Cost: $5
Friday: Join in a good cause and take part in a pyjama party to raise awareness of homelessness. Cost: $5.
