Board member Garry Kadwell accepted the cheque from Crookwell Potato Festival chair Joyce Edwards.
He thanked the organisers for their donation which will go towards community organisations and projects.
The money raised was from the auction of a new variatel of spud - a Red Cranberry - which was auctioned to Divall's Earthmoving and Bulk Haulage for $2000.
"Thank you to the Divall family for their long-term support and to Richard Opie who organises the auction and conducts it in a fun friendly manner," Mr Kadwell said.
Divall's has won the spud auction for the past three years. Ms Edwards said it was a kind gesture of the business.
