In Crookwell, the initial eclipse will begin at 4.43am during this phase the earth's shadow causes a lighter shading of the moon.
However, the full spectacle will begin at 6.01am, the moon will start to get red, and by 7.08am the eclipse will have reached its greatest magnitude.
Since the moon will be near the horizon, for the best view, it is recommended to find a high point or an unobstructed area looking west to southwest.
