The Crookwell resident has been selected in not one, but two representative sides in recent months.
Bella was picked in the NSW PSSA hockey team which will play in the School Sports Australian Championships in Bendigo from August 19-23 and for the NSW U13 Lions Girls Hockey team at the Australian Nationals in Hobart in October.
The St Mary's Primary School student was nervous at first when picked for the two sides, but the nerves quickly turned to excitement.
She hopes to use this opportunity to further her skills.
"I still have a lot of work to do and need to train a lot," Bella said.
"I am a little bit nervous about flying to Hobart though, as it is my first time flying.
"I am super excited to see more of Australia and to make new lifelong friends.
"I am looking forward to meeting new people and am excited to be working with new coaches.
"I want to improve my skills and to keep learning."
Bella's mother Rachael Croker is understandably proud of the achievements.
"Her family are all extremely proud of her achievements particularly being at the bottom age for the u13s NSW state team and gaining selection," Mrs Croker said.
Bella started playing the sport at age five and loved it. She is grateful for the opportunities it affords.
"Hockey allows me to have some awesome new experiences, like seeing a lot of NSW and Australia," she said.
Mrs Croker said Bella's determination had taken her to where she was today.
"That has worked in her favour as she sets goals and works hard each day to achieve them," Mrs Croker said.
Most sportsmen/women have an idol in their sport and for Bella, that person is Hockeyroo, Emily Chalker.
"I love that she is a striker because that is my position too," Bella said.
"She is always chasing the ball and creating lots of opportunities for her team.
"I also have had some great help and advice from Kellie White and Glenn Turner.
"I really respect all of the club and rep coaches I have had as well.
"Every coach you have helps you to become a better player."
While this may be her biggest accomplishment so far, she will continue to work hard to achieve her long term goals.
"I want to make future NSW teams and to one day become a Hockeyroo."
