Yass-based Fiona Taylor will fill the position of rural financial counsellor held by Beverly Houterman. She will be based in Crookwell twice a week.
Ms Taylor is an experienced financial counsellor and over the past seven years has worked in the northern, central regions and southern Queensland. She moved to Yass to be near her family.
"Everything will be running as per normal," Ms Taylor said.
In administration, Kelly Churchill, will remain at the Crookwell office three days per week.
The free counselling service is for farmers, fishers and small related businesses suffering financial hardship.
