The Green Devils had a come from behind 28-10 win while the She Devils were involved in a tight 10-2 affair at Seiffert Oval on Saturday, September 7.

Green Devils coach Simon Smith said his side knew the Tigers would be tough to beat.

"The boys knew they were going to get in to a hard battle with Bungendore who have been a top side all year," Smith said.

"We just knew if we went with them for the first 15 to 20 minutes, we would come out in the second half firing.

"We stuck to our guns and pushed through them."

The Green Devils were down 10-6 early in the second half, but toiled hard to win with five unanswered tries.

The crowd roared throughout the match which created a fantastic atmosphere and pumped up Smith's side.

"It's a journey to come from Crookwell to Queanbeyan, but they still did it," Smith said.

"They have been amazing all year."

The home side take on the North Canberra Bears in the grand final on Saturday, September 14 from 2.45pm.

"We know North Canberra will be tough as it is the rematch of last year, so we know what they're about," Smith said.

The She Devils, on the other hand, didn't play to their potential in the first half against the Tigerettes, but managed to fixed things up in the second.

"We made it a little hard for ourselves in the first half with dropped balls, but we hung around in the second," She Devils co-coach Paddy Lenane said.

"At half time we said we would have to take mistakes out of our game and that's what we did.

The women play the Harden Hawkettes in their final on Saturday from 1.20pm, an opponent they know from front to back.

"We've played Harden plenty of times already this year and the main message is to stay confident and do the simple things right," Lenane said.

Both grand finals will be played at Jamison Oval in the ACT.
