The defibrillator automatically diagnoses life-threatening sudden cardiac arrest and can reestablish an effective rhythm. It has simple audio and visual commands which can be followed by most people.
Pub owners, Dale and Bruce Cox, purchased the device with money raised at the venue for men's health.
Anyone requiring the use of the AED (automated external defibrillator) can request it at the bar, it can either be a patron or someone in the nearby area, Mrs Cox said.
In the past, the pub has donated money raised from events and raffles towards research into prostate cancer, and other men's health issues.
