Bach in the Dark Concert

Bach in the Dark is coming back to Gunning! Bach in the Dark is a series of unconventional classical music concerts - deliberately informal, delightfully intimate and a little bit different.

STRING TIME: Rachel Scott and David Pereira bring Bach in the Dark back to Gunning.

STRING TIME: Rachel Scott and David Pereira bring Bach in the Dark back to Gunning.

For the fourth and final program in the 2019 series, Rachel Scott is joined by former teacher and cello great, David Pereira.

If you've been to a concert with David and Rachel before you'll know that you're in for a night of great musical conversation!

A critic said that Rachel and David's playing "has the feel of a celebration, of untempered, free and loose-limbed music-making, where lines are shaped by boldness..."

The program will include works by JS Bach, a piece written especially for the concert by David Pereira, and duos by Boccherini and Offenbach.

The concert will be held in the Courtroom of the Old Gunning Courthouse at 8pm on Saturday, October 19.
