The Spanish striker's free transfer to Napoli - the 34-year-old was cast aside by Champions League runners-up Tottenham when his contract expired at the end of last season - is paying large dividends.

His goals came five days after also scoring in Napoli's 2-0 win over champions Liverpool in the Champions League.

"He certainly made a good impression," Napoli coach Carlo Ancelotti said. "I liked the way he played alongside Arkadiusz Milik and their positioning.

"The first goal also came from a Milik shot, so we've got a lot of variety to choose from in attack."

Llorente flicked in after a thwarted effort from Milik on 28 minutes and nodded against the arm of Panagiotis Tachtsidis for a penalty, converted by Lorenzo Insigne in the 40th minute.

Llorente then tapped in the game's closing goal on 82 after Fabian Ruiz fired in the Neapolitans' third and Lecce pulled one back from a penalty that Marco Mancosu converted.

"This could have been a very tricky game, but I saw a great performance from the team," Ancelotti aded. "We were up against a well-organised side, with quality.

"With the mental and physical energy expended against Liverpool, the team might not have been right at it - however I saw an excellent performance, with intensity."

Roma striker Edin Dzeko nodded in a stoppage-time winner at Bologna after the late dismissal of his teammate Gianluca Mancini.

The Giallorossi went ahead when Aleksandar Kolarov curled in a free-kick, but then brought down Roberto Soriano for Nicola Sansone's equalising penalty.

A cross from Lorenzo Pellegrini found Dzeko to seal a 2-1 success that pushed Roma to fourth place on eight points.

Fiorentina missed a first win away to Atalanta, going two up as Federico Chiesa opened with a deflected effort and after the break crossed for French veteran Franck Ribery's first for the club.

Racist chants prompted a brief suspension during the game, however.

The referee ordered a warning to be read over the stadium's loudspeaker after the chants were apparently made by Atalanta fans toward Fiorentina fullback Dalbert Henrique.

Sampdoria clinched their first points from a 1-0 home win by beating Torino thanks to Manolo Gabbiadini's second-half winner.

Sassuolo beat regional rivals SPAL 3-0 while Lazio were 2-0 winners at home over Parma in the late game with Ciro Immobile and Adam Marusic scoring.
