The Goulburn and District Art Society presents the 17th Goulburn Workers Club Annual Art Prize. It include oils, water colour/pen and wash, acrylics, other media, miniatures, photography and digital art. All are welcome to the official opening at 6.30pm this Friday. Then it is open on Friday and Saturday, 10am to 9pm; and Sunday, 10am to 4pm. Entry fee for the opening $10. Information is available on the website: artsociety.goulburn.net.au

Australian Stock Horse Society Show
- October 26 to 27 at the Gunning Showground
The Southern Highlands branch of the Australian Stock Horse Society hold their annual show in Gunning. The branch has a growing membership and around 80 competitors and horses from across the district from the Australian Capital Territory to Goulburn will be vying for a win. Enjoy the hospitality of Gunning and watch the outstanding performances of riders, both young and old. Events on Saturday will attract many junior competitors, but also national level competitors at the futurity, maturity and challenges and junior classes. Sunday is the open hack and working class competitions. All welcome. Free entry. The first event will commence on 8am on Saturday and Sunday morning.
