Just 15 months after a bitter legal dispute over the estate of popular Australian author Colleen McCullough, a collection of her personal items are going up for auction.

Writer of best-seller The Thorn Birds, McCullough died aged 77 at her Norfolk Island home in 2015 and her estate became subject to a legal fight, resolved in July last year.
The NSW Supreme Court declared her husband Ric Robinson the sole beneficiary of the $2.1 million estate and an October 30 auction in Sydney plans to sell a number of items.
A Corona typewriter is expected to fetch for up to $5000. Manuscripts for The Thorn Birds and her first novel, Tim, are set to fetch up to $30,000 and up to $6000 respectively.
Bust sketches of Julius Caesar are among never-before-seen drawings, written works and personal possessions also up for grabs.
There's even a letter from former US president Bill Clinton.
McCullough was once a medical researcher but went on to spend four decades penning about 25 published works.
Her greatest literary honour came near the end of her career, winning the Scanno Prize, which is Italy's equivalent of the Nobel Prize for Literature, for her Masters of Rome series.
The Sotheby's auction will be held at Sydney's Hughenden Boutique Hotel.
