Hibo Green beat the Crookwell Golf Club by a solitary run at Seiffert Oval on Saturday, November 2 to make it back to back wins.
Green managed to score 226 in their first innings after electing to bat at the coin toss.
The home side lost three wickets early on, but a 97 from the ever reliable captain in Dane Stevenson as well as a handy contribution from Kyle Wilcox and a 61 from Rory Heffernan saved their score to 226.
Josh Paterson, Martyn Travers and Daniel Knight all picked up two wickets for Crookwell.
A run out early put Crookwell on the back foot in their innings, but a quick fire 60 from Travers and a gutsy 33 from Jake Paterson helped steady the ship.
A loss of five wickets for eight runs put Green right on top, but although the tail wagged well, Crookwell fell agonisingly short by a run.
The game between the Workers Stags and Hibo Gold was called of due to a lack of players.
In the second grade division, Hibo Gold beat Crookwell by nine wickets, Railway Bowlo beat Green by 32 runs, the Goulburn Soldiers Warriors beat the Gordon Goats by two wickets and the Stags beat the Hibo Colts by 23 runs.
