Early this morning, Yass firefighters controlled a large pile of mulch which became alight at Martin's Fertilizers.
The fire became alight about 4am. Fire and Rescue NSW Station 511 Yass and three Rural Fire Service brigades were on scene.
There are no concerns of the fire becoming out of control, NSW Rural Fire Service operational officer for the Southern Tablelands, Lachlan Gilchrist, said.
"It's well-contained, fortunately," he said.
Another bush fire is burning across 37 hectares near the Kangara-Boyd National Park, north of the Wombeyan Caves.
Firefighters have the blaze under control.
Yesterday, catastrophic fire danger was recorded in the Greater Sydney, Greater Hunter and Illawarra and Shoalhaven areas.
Conditions have eased, however there is a large number of fires still burning throughout the state.
