The Upper Lachlan Shire raised $5300.
Organiser of Pinking Up Crookwell and chair of the Crookwell Hospital Community Consultation Jo Agostini said the response had been overwhelming.
"Crookwell has really come together in an incredible wave of support for the McGrath Foundation," she said.
Many businesses, schools and organisations helped to raise money and pink up to continue the care of breast cancer nurses.
"From those who allowed us to place collection tins on their counters and dressed their staff and premises in pink, to those who held morning teas and other activities residents showed so much generosity to the cause.
"A real highlight for me was the display of bras hanging off the hospital balcony and turning the hospital pink at night during the month of October.
"I speak on behalf of the whole committee when I say a heartfelt thank you to every person involved.
"Special thanks must go to Dianne Layden and Beryl Croker who did all the legwork for the fundraising event. Lynne van Veen was their able assistant."
Figures show across Australia the number of women who will receive a breast cancer diagnosis before the age of 85 has increased.
One in seven women and approximately 164 men will also be diagnosed with breast cancer this year.
McGrath Foundation ambassador and director, Tracy Bevan thanked the community.
"It's wonderful to see the hard work of the residents" and "we couldn't be more grateful".
"It is the support of towns like Crookwell that enable us to continue to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in areas that need them most."
