On Sunday, December 8, past and present members will descend on the Showgrounds to celebrate the club's long history and enjoy watching juniors show their skills.
"We're hoping to have maybe 15 or 20 [turn up]," club secretary Jo Grove said. "They just want to come and have a cake and cuppa and bring old pony club photos."
The club will also hold end-of-year presentations with cake and an appreciation photo with Crookwell Lions.
The club included the Lions as a gesture of thanks after the latter donated nearly $2500 for upgrades to CPC.
The anniversary, Grove said, was "overwhelming ... still such a great little pony club running successfully".
When president Catherine Culley joined, "it was only two riders ... and at the moment it's a really strong group. There's a lot of young riders, so the future is bright.
"We're really excited to cross this milestone."
Culley's influence on the club as it approached this milestone, Grove said, should not be underestimated. "She's done a huge job," she said. "She's got our numbers into the low 20s, which is really good."
With past members expected, Grove encouraged those with photos or memorabilia to share their memories.
"If anybody has anything [to bring], we're going to do a wall in our shed for photos and memorabilia or history."
The club also sought expressions of interest to sponsor perpetual trophies for future presentation days. "I think we've got six trophies ... we'll do a shelf or cabinet and retire the old trophies," Grove said.
On the day, juniors will ride 11am to noon, with the presentations, barbecue and cake-cutting from noon.
