Although, the familiar green and gold signage of the Landmark brand identity has been replaced at the agency in Crookwell with Nutrien's branding.

Nutrien, operating in Australia through its wholly-owned subsidiary Landmark Operations Limited, officially took control of Ruralco Holdings Limited on October 1. Landmark has been owned by the American-owned crop giant Nutrien for nine years.

The brand was revealed to 4000-plus staff in the combined network of Rural Co and Landmark in November.

The full implementation of the Nutrien Ag Solutions brand will be staged over 12 months, David Noble, branch manager of Goulburn, Crookwell and Moss Vale said.

New signage is yet to appear in Goulburn and Moss Vale.

Mr Noble emphasised it would be "business as usual" during the transition period.

"The location hasn't changed, the services we offer, or the personnel."

The combined operation has a network of 290 corporate-owned stores, plus 300 independent rural supplies retailers, and joint ventures in partnership with local management. It also operates a suite of other wool, fertiliser and crop protection businesses.

"While some stores will have new signage go up before the end of the year, the entire network will take some time to complete, and during that period, customers will continue to receive statements for the legacy companies," Rob Clayton, managing director said.

"All corporately owned business units will adopt the new brand," Mr Clayton said.

Mr Clayton said the united leadership team was focused on creating a consistent brand experience addressing the changing needs of grower customers.

"That focus would include digital solutions and e-commerce initiatives to support the network and growers.

"Customers should be reassured that they will continue to deal with the same people, and largely the same brand in the short term," he said.

The merger and rebrand will not affect Ruralco businesses, including CRT, for now.

Ruralco businesses range from rural supplies, livestock real estate, finance, water products and equipment, agricultural advisory roles and wool. Its brands include CRT, Australian Agricultural Auctions, Davidson Cameron and co, CQ Ag Services, Frontier, Hall Irrigation, for example.

CRTs buying power from Ruralcos wholesale division will remain unchanged, McGeechan Farm Supplies, CRT farm and rural supply store, Mitchell McGeechan said.

Both businesses will continue as active competitors, he said.
