His 102 off 47 deliveries helped the Workers Stags to a 154 run victory over the Crookwell Golf Club at Prell Oval on Saturday, December 7.
After winning the toss, Stags lost a wicket early when Zac Croker was bowled by Stuart Parsons, but that would be the only hiccup in their innings.
Fitzsimmons was aided by a couple of handy scores by batsmen around him including a half century from Jack Murdoch.
Parsons, John Edwards, Thomas Divall and John Rogers all took a wicket each but the Stags put up a monumental total of 261 off 20 overs.
Crookwell never looked a chance of chasing the total, being at 5/35 at one stage before being bowled out by the Stags for just 107 runs.
Tom McGregor was the pick of the Stags bowlers, taking four wickets.
In the other game at Seiffert Oval, the table topping Hibo Green beat Hibo Gold after a minor scare at the end.
Gold batted first and reached a total of 115 runs in an innings which included two ducks.
Luke Hayward, Dylan Pumpa, Francis McAlister and Archie Wearne all bagged two wickets each.
Green looked to be crusing towards the target of 116, but two wickets in the space of three balls from Raheem Abdul made things a little interesting, but they got home with 16 balls to spare.
Green next play the Stags at the same ground on Saturday, December 14 while Gold play Crookwell at The Grange.
