Member for Goulburn announced the funding on November 28.
CADS will receive $50,000 to light up the stage in a more energy-efficient, cost-efficient and environmentally-friendly way.
"The Crookwell Amateur Dramatic Society has been central to the local community for over 35 years. But right now the society is running power in the theatre at full capacity," Ms Tuckerman said.
"This project will convert all lights and equipment to LEDs (light-emitting diode)."
The grant is from the NSW Government's Infrastructure Grants program. The funding is made available by the reinvestment of clubs' gaming machine profits. Since 2013, $82 million has been reinvested back into the community.
It is for projects to build or upgrade facilities in sports and recreation, arts and culture, disaster readiness, and essential community infrastructure. This year, the program expanded to support drought-affected communities and youth, mental health and domestic violence services.
"The projects they're delivering will boost participation in sport, recreation and arts, social inclusion and disaster resilience - making a real difference in people's lives across NSW," Ms Tuckerman said.
