In the library world, February 14 isn't Valentine's Day, it's Library Lovers' Day!

Libraries around the world join in the fun of Library Lovers' Day each year to celebrate libraries, librarians, book lovers and lovers of libraries.

The theme for Library Lovers' Day 2020 is 'Uncover Something New'.

Join Crookwell Library on Library Lovers Day with a talk on rainforests by Dr Stuart Davies.

Dr Davies is a native of Australia, past resident of Crookwell and a Smithsonian scientist.

He has ventured into the heart of forests around the globe, studying the amazing ecosystems of rainforests.

Dr Davies will share his discoveries and knowledge of some of the world's amazing rainforests this Friday, 11am to 12pm, followed by a light lunch.

Entry is via a gold coin donation and visitors are asked to bring a plate of food to share.
