At the beginning of every school year, high schools have their swimming carnivals and Crookwell High School held theirs at the Crookwell Swimming Pool on Wednesday, February 5.

Crookwell High School sports coordinator Andrew Whittle said the carnival was a massive success and everyone had a fabulous time.
"The event was well supported by the students and staff and it was a great day as the temperature was not too hot or cold," Whittle said.
"The students participated to the best of their ability.
"Some students entered at least three events with good individual results achieved in a range of different strokes."
The school looks forward to sending a strong team to the regional swimming carnival at Queanbeyan on Wednesday, February 26.
The age champions were Florence Dark and George Lee in the 12 years girls and boys and Annie Knight and Levi Woods in the 13 years.
The 14 years winners were Marlee Seaman and Archie Duncombe, Eliza Kemp and Eddie Robinson in the 15 years and Alyse Culhane and Jayson Aramoana in the 16 years.
The senior girl champion was Misha O'Brien while the senior boys champion was Koen Treacy.
The highest individual point scorers were Annie Knight from house Oxley, contributing 58 points, and Jayson Aramoana from house Mitchell with 67 points.
The winning house was Mitchell.
Crookwell Public School were meant to have their swimming carnival on Friday, February 7, but that has been postponed to term 4 due to poor weather.
