No new cases of coronavirus have been reported in the Upper Lachlan Shire for seven days.
The region's only two cases were announced on Wednesday, April 1.
The curve has also flattened across the Southern NSW Local Health District with no new cases confirmed in three days.
The total number still stands at 53 despite tests verified in the past 24 hours.
Goulburn-Mulwaree had ten cases and Yass Valley had six.
Five of the ten confirmed cases in Goulburn Mulwaree have been cleared and are "circulating" in the community again, Goulburn Mulwaree Council general manager Warwick Bennett said at a council meeting on Tuesday evening.
The other cases are in self-isolation for 14 days and have not needed hospitalisation.
As the statewide lockdown and social distancing help flatten the curve, residents are reminded that travel will still be restricted over the Easter long weekend.
Only essential travel to the supermarket, pharmacy, medical appointments, work or for exercise in your suburb will be permitted.
Of the 53 cases across the district, the majority, 51, contracted the virus overseas, three contracted the virus locally and one contracted the virus interstate (note: two of those are in the ACT and VIC, bringing the total to 55).
The most cases in the district are among the 20 to 29-year-old, 50 to 59-year-old and 60 to 69-year-old age groups.
Southern NSW Local Health District Public Health Unit said it is in contact with each confirmed case and their close contacts, advising them to self-isolate for 14 days from when they were last with the confirmed case.
They have also been advised to seek medical attention should they experience symptoms.
Identifying close contacts ensures that those people who may be at risk take the necessary steps to avoid any further transmission. It is essential that everyone plays a part in containing the spread of COVID-19 by practising good hygiene measures including:
- Clean your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or an alcohol-based hand rub.
- Cover your nose and mouth when coughing and sneezing with tissue or a flexed elbow.
- Avoid close contact with anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms.
- Stay at home, only leave if it is absolutely essential.
Southern NSW Local Health District has established COVID-19 Assessment Centres throughout the district, so those with symptoms may be tested and treated quickly.
More information to come.
