The outdoor pool has ben reconstructed into a 25-metre facility with an an accessible ramp for users of all abilities. A toddlers pool and amenities also form part of the project.

"The aim is to build an all-inclusive centre," an Upper Lachlan Shire Council spokesman said.
"Everyone of every age and every ability will be welcome and able to use the facilities. That's exciting for our community. "
The liner for the outdoor pool has been made and transported from overseas. It has been delivered to Australia and held in storage until the installation phase at a later date, when there is no likelihood of damage. Currently, heavy plant is moving around the site daily.
The existing playground in Coleman Park, in front of the pool has been removed in readiness for an all-inclusive park. As the playground was being removed, the council advised users to explore the Shire and engage with other playgrounds and parks in and around Crookwell.
"The detailed designs are now in the final stages and during this phase the swales to protect the site/building works and eventually manage future stormwater are being constructed, pending fine weather," a council spokesman said.

The spokesman said while the project the current work was 'financially on track,' more funding was required to complete the heated pool and public amenities phase.
The multipurpose centre is due to be completed in November, 2022.
