NATO declares Russia a 'direct threat'

NATO head Jens Stoltenberg says Russian leader Vladimir Putin "is getting more NATO on his borders".

NATO has invited Sweden and Finland to join the military alliance in one of the biggest shifts in European security in decades after Russia's invasion of Ukraine pushed officials in Helsinki and Stockholm to drop their tradition of neutrality.
