PINEWALLA Stud held their annual on property ram sale on Monday December 1, 2014, offering 71 Poll Dorsett, 17 White Suffolk and eight Dorset Horn stud and flock rams.

They sold all 71 Poll Dorsets with a top price of $2000 three times, to the average of $1215.
Pleasant View Pastoral Company owned by Lindsay Picker of Bigga purchased through Landmark Crookwell, one of the top priced rams and Buena Vista Pastoral Company owned by Brian Selmes of Wheeo, through Duncombe and Co, purchased another at the top price of $2000. The third top price purchaser for the day was Glenwood Poll Dorsets at Binda owned by Scott Madden.
Pinewalla offered and sold 17 White Suffolks to a top of $1600, and an average of $1001.
Top price went to David Johnson, Koorawatha, near Cowra.
Pinewalla also offered and sold eight Dorset Horn stud rams to a top of $2,000.
Volume buyer was Franita Past Co owned by Anthony Selmes of Wheeo.
The stud offered an outstanding draft of rams with great growth, muscling and weight for age.
The top rams weighed 140kg with plenty of rams over the 120kg weight, with Eye Muscle Depths up to 47.5 and plenty over 40.
A strong sale with the main competition from repeat local buyers.
