He has had a very successful meet, managing to achieve a total of three gold and two silver medals. He is absolutely stoked with his overall performance.
Selections for the Australian teams have now been announced.
His family have great pride and much excitement to share that Lachlan has been selected to participate in three events: The Oceania in New Zealand and Namwong in Korea; and the biggest achievement was his selection for the Australian team competing at the World Championships in China in September.
Congratulations Lachlan, you have skated so very well at this competition and all the hard work you have put in over this last 12 months has certainly paid off .
Lachlan is just 15years old. His parents are Tanya (nee Douven) and Russell MacKenzie of Melbourne.
Proud grandparents are Theo and Mary Douven of Crookwell and Margaret MacKenzie of Brisbane.
