I read with interest your story about the emu published last week.
Back in the 1960s, when we were going to Goulburn we would stop to let our children look at the emus (there were two back then).
But in recent years one disappeared.
Poses the question, is this the same emu?
If so he would be over 50 years old. Is it also known how long emus live?
