Perhaps we have recently lost a family member or a close friend and are acutely aware that they are no longer here to share the coming festivities. Even if the loss occurred decades ago we still see that empty chair and feel the ache in our heart, and the pain is real and ever-present. Or maybe there has been a marriage break-up, illness or other difficulties which have made us feel 'blue'.
For the first time last December you shared in a Blue Christmas Service and found comfort and healing in the words and music you heard.
This is again being held at 4pm on Saturday, December 17 at St Bartholomews, Denison Street, where everyone, regardless of denomination or faith, will be made welcome. Light refreshments will follow the service. Transport available contact Marion 4832 1212 or Sylvia 4832 0161.
