There are a lot of residents in the Shire who support ‘best practice’.
To those councillors who do not believe in ‘best practice’, please explain your reasoning so that I, along with others in the Shire, can understand your reasoning in voting against ‘best practice’.
If this is more than any one of the five councillors can manage, then get off council and let forward-thinking people have a go.
If our ULSC is to progress, ‘best practice’ must always be adopted.

Showing thanks
I wish to take this opportunity to thank each and every one involved with the very successful running of the Ladies Auxiliary at the Crookwell Show, from Friday through to Sunday afternoon, including catering for the judges, stewards and our men who set up the grounds ready for the weekend events.
Thank you to the team of ladies who work so well together to achieve this.
Saturday and Sunday would not be possible without the support of our ladies, and Mr Culley, in preparation of sandwiches and slices: a job professionally done.
Thank you all so much for your continued support.
The call went out for assistance and was answered.
Thank you, each and every one of you, for your time and support in the kitchen, and serving the people of our community.
It’s always so nice to hear the chatter and laughs that are had throughout the day.
Thank you also to Arthur and Lorraine Humphries for running the food tent at the cattle, which was very much appreciated by the exhibitors and judges.
There’s always a concern about numbers of people to help, but I must say there were more new faces this year and it’s always pleasing to see that people come forward to support our Crookwell and District Show.
I have scheduled a meeting for March 2 at 7.30pm at the showground to discuss the future of the Auxiliary.
Once again, we call and need our young ones to step up as we have an ageing Auxiliary.
Please bring your thoughts and ideas of how we move forward.
