The fire, which started on the Thalaba property, crossed the Peelwood Road onto a neighbouring property, but was quickly contained on Friday evening.
The fire was started by a lightning strike and burnt about 29 hectares with 14 fire trucks from local brigades attending.
On Saturday morning, the area was showing hot spots after rain had fallen in the area overnight. Crews were still on the scene attending to those hot spots.
