The results from Vets v Schooies
This game see-sawed from end to end as both teams combined well with neither team being able to score in the first half. Goalies, Katie and Carol saving many shots at goal. Kristy Skelly saving a shot at goal on the line for Schooies.
Nathan and Alice combined well to set up the Schooies forwards but Vets fullbacks Kyle and Rachel kept them scoreless with solid defense.
After some good lead up moves from Nicole and Chelsea, fill in player Nic Bensley scored two quick goals to give Vets 2-0 lead.
Nic has been on a goal scoring feast over the last few weeks scoring some great goals.
Tarn scored a late goal for Schooies.
Nathan almost scored their second, but his shot missed by centimetres.
Vets winning a very even game.
Vets 2 (Nic Bensley 2) def Schooies 1 (Tarn Mier-Tatana 1)
Best Players Alice Skelly, Kyle McCormack and Chelsea Morton.
