“Having a large turnover of players because of age restraints was always going to happen,” coach David Naughton said
“With a lot of under 14 players coming up a grade, we have a pretty good line up to work with.
“A win and a loss so far this year has given them something to work on.
“It’s only early in the season but they are a very determined bunch of kids and we all want to do well. The team is led by a capable Sam Cramp and consists of 11 boys and one girl, Emily Secomb.
“Emily loves her cricket.”
The under 16s play at home at the Grange for the next month and look forward to entertaining anyone who would like to come and support them on a Saturday mornings.
Pitch damage
Seiffert Oval cricket pitch and Trinity 2 pitch in Goulburn have been damaged by vandalism. They were two turf wickets that Goulburn cricket were playing on. Crookwell has the only other turf wicket in the comp at this stage.
