$15,000 raised from shave fundraiser

A very overwhelmed and now bald, Steve Tricket, expresses a big thank you to all who has supported him over the recent months whilst fundraising.

And, the difference the shave makes. A $15,000 difference.

The night they hosted the shave went really well and the raffles were well attended.

A great mixture of prizes were available for the 26 lucky winners.

The total raised is $15,119.10 which is a great combined community effort.

“Special thanks to the Top Pub for allowing the shave off, to Eclipe Hair for giving their time to shave and the Crookwell Community for their support.” Mr Tricket said.

“Another special thank you to Russell King for his fundraising effort of $2000 - from the Highland Riders and shaving off his eyebrows an awesome effort by Russell.

“To all who organised the wood for the raffle as well is greatly appreciated.” he said.

Steve’s beard was auctioned on the night with the highest bid being $56 - just for some fun!

Steve is just overwhelmed by the support from the community and the amount raised well and truly exceeded his expectations.

Also he is feeling the chill at the moment around the ears, face and back of neck.

I think he might need a scarf.
