The centre will be open from 8.30am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am to 12.00pm on Saturdays.
“We’re on the home run in terms of delivering Goulburn’s anticipated Service NSW centre,” Minister Perrottet said.
“The centre will offer customers access to more than 800 NSW government transactions including driver licences, vehicle registrations, Seniors Card applications, owner builder permits, housing payments and more.”
Member for Goulburn Pru Goward said the benefits of the centre would go beyond a centralised location.
“Locals will welcome the centre as a game-changer in terms of how transactions with government are done,” she said.
“This is all about convenience and efficiency for customers.
The days of local people having to visit many locations to transact with the NSW Government are about to end.
“These are the sorts of services and options locals have been asking for and we’re pleased to be delivering them.”
Mr Perrottet said the government is making it even more convenient for customers by putting more transactions online which will complement the one-stop shops.
“New initiatives such as LiveChat, more self-serve kiosks and the Service NSW mobile app will also increase convenience for customers,” he said.
“We are delivering on a key commitment to make transacting with government easier.”
Since its launch in 2013, Service NSW has served more than 16 million customers through the digital service, 24/7 phone service and 34 service centres across the State.
Ms Goward said the new manager for Goulburn’s one-stop shop is Rodger Corcoran.
“Rodger has been working at Service NSW Queanbeyan Service Centre,” she said.
“I know Rodger and the team will provide excellent service at Goulburn.”
