This was a very successful day with over one hundred people bringing items in for appraisal, with most bringing in a couple of items each.
The appraiser, Hugh Arthur, was very knowledgable on all items and hit the mark with valuing items for the eager crowd.
The smallest item appraised on the day was a thimble and one of the largest was a carved chinese wooden chair.
The chair is currently on display and for sale in the centre of the shop and would be a beautiful treasure that would grace any home.
There was also art works, silverware, an antique gramophone plus many ceramic pieces appraised on the day.
It was a successful day with another to be planned for the near future.
One of the highlights of the day was the fundraiser that raised $217.
A gold coin donations bucket was passed around with the proceeds going towards a Skate Park for Crookwell.
The Crookwell Lions Club are a sponsor of the Skate Park and will encourage further fundraising efforts through the Club to help out the children working towards the Park.
A mammoth fundraising effort is ahead of the youth of Crookwell to see the Park come to fruition.
Lions will release details shortly about where you can donate money towards the Skate Park.
