Crookwell is a smaller rural town with varied retail and hospitality shops who open on Sundays.
The shops in Crookwell mostly say they open on a Sunday purely as a customer service.
David Johnson is the co-owner of Crookwell Arcadia and the Chairperson of the Crookwell Progress Association and told the Gazette that his business opens religiously on a Sunday.
“We open on a Sunday out of loyalty to our customers purely as a service to our customers not for much profit.
“Most of the shops that open regular on a Sunday may feel the same.”
The larger store in town is waiting to be notified on any changes in the retail sector.
