He made selection for the PSSA NSW team when he was in year six and travelled to Tasmania for the Nationals where they won a bronze medal.
McGregor played in the NSW indoor hockey teams in 2014, 2015 and 2016, winning a silver medal in 2015 and gold medal in 2016.
He was in the under 13s Blues team, captained in Darwin and then competed in the 15s Blues team in 2016 and now again in 2017.
He plays in Sydney on Friday night, Goulburn on Thursday night and here in Crookwell on Saturday mornings. Crookwell Junior hockey have always supported McGregor and this year they would like to make a donation of $150 towards his fees for representing NSW.
However, McGregor donated the money back to the juniors club to help to keep hockey going strong in Crookwell. Zac is the son of Dave and Megan McGregor of Crookwell.
