There is so much that goes on behind the scenes to bring the community such a fantastic annual show.
To commence show celebrations on the Saturday February 3, the Crookwell AP&H Society will be celebrating their 140th anniversary with ‘Drinks on the Lawn’ at the Crookwell Showground.
The night is a chance to celebrate the achievements of the Society and those involved over 140 years.
It’s also a chance for committee members, exhibitors and the community to come together, reminisce about the old days and look forward to the future.
‘Drinks on the Lawn’ will also see the sashing of the 2018 Crookwell Showgirl as part of ‘The Land’ Sydney Showgirl Competition.
This event has been running since 1962 and is a progressive opportunity for young women to develop personal and professional skills, providing a chance to network with likeminded young women and potential mentors, friends and future employers.
The Competition encourages the participation of women in the rural sector, both on a local and state level, generating awareness of their important contribution to the community.
We hope to see you there to celebrate this milestone, dressed in your cocktail best!
Finger food and live music will be provided and drinks can be purchased on the night.
Tickets are available for purchase at Arcadia Crookwell for $45.
The annual show is on February 10 and 11.
