The committee chairperson who broke her ankle last month can be found in Crookwell District Hospital surrounded by envelopes and wristbands in the lead up to the event.
It has been business as usual, holding meeting and organising the festival from her hospital room.
“I wouldn’t miss it for the world,” she said with a smile.
“We’ve all put too much into it.”
She expects this year to be the biggest festival yet, with 100 stalls registered on the day.
Special guest ABC Gardening Australia host and landscape architect Costa Georgiadis will participate in the festivities and visit school gardens.
A range of smashing activities will be on display, including the draught horse traditional potato farming, which will be held near the showgrounds this year, live music, potato decorating, cooking demonstrations and a pet parade.
“We’re trying to cater to all ages,” she said.
“Costa Georgiadis as the special guest will mean more attention.”
Disabled parking will also be available on East Street and Grange Street.
Attendees will have the opportunity to buy general admission ($5) or all event passes across town (20) at the door.
For Ms Edwards, the day is also about community spirit, thanking all the members who have donated their time to the big day.
On Saturday she will be at the merchandising desk near the feedback box. She encouraged attendees to drop by and submit feedback on the show.
The festival will be held at the Crookwell Showground and around the Shire on Saturday, May 12 from 9am.
