Prior to the round 10 matches on the weekend, the Crookwell Griffins and Crookwell Red occupied positions three and five on the ladder, and, once the results from last weekend are updated, that could improve significantly.
The Griffins are likely to move up, considering they had a fairly straightforward match against Marulan Green, who have struggled so far this year and travelled to Crookwell for the game.
However, things were more interesting for Crookwell Red, who took on Stags 97 on Saturday, who are one spot above them in the ladder and boast a strong defence.
With only one round of the regular season to go, it is critical that both Crookwell sides maintain their strong run of form to give themselves the best chance come finals.
Next week, the Griffins and the Reds will play Stags 97 and Wollondilly Soldiers Gold respectively.
