It is an opportunity for all residents in the Shire to dispose of their household chemicals safely and free-of-charge.
Household quantities (up to a maximum of 20 litres or 20 kilograms of a single item) of the following household chemicals and items will be accepted:
- Cleaning chemicals and solvents
- Fire extinguishers
- Pool chemicals
- Pesticides and herbicides
- Paint
- Acids and alkalis
- Gas bottles
- Poisons
- Motor oils, fuels and fluids
- Fluorescent globes and tubes
