Upper Lachlan Shire Council will hold the annual Household Chemical CleanOut at Todkill Park in Crookwell from 8am-11am on Sunday, July 29.

It is an opportunity for all residents in the Shire to dispose of their household chemicals safely and free-of-charge.

Household quantities (up to a maximum of 20 litres or 20 kilograms of a single item) of the following household chemicals and items will be accepted:

  • Cleaning chemicals and solvents
  • Fire extinguishers
  • Pool chemicals
  • Pesticides and herbicides
  • Paint
  • Acids and alkalis
  • Gas bottles
  • Poisons
  • Motor oils, fuels and fluids
  • Fluorescent globes and tubes
