Some St Mary’s Year 6 students have formed a Mini Vinnies team, to work for a just and compassionate society, and reach out to the poor and disadvantaged with love, respect, justice and hope.

The team wants to help people in Crookwell and surrounding areas, including Goulburn, through the St Vincent De Paul Society, identifying a need for items for those doing it tough to brave the remaining winter.
The team asks the local community to please check their homes for the following spare items which could be donated: Gloves (high priority); Beanies (high priority); Adult-sized jackets (high priority); Sleeping bags (high priority); Blankets; Jumpers; and Scarves.
Donations may be delivered to St Mary’s Primary School office on Wade Street by Friday August 31.
