The Social weekend with the Tomikin bowlers will be held on Saturday 21st & Sun 22nd October. This weekend is for anyone who would like to play.

The cost is $60 which includes Lunch & Dinner on the Saturday & Breakfast & Lunch on the Sunday & 2 games of Social bowls. Single entrees are now open & sheets are up at both clubhouses.

Both teams combining well from the start. Neither team able to penetrate the defence and the game remained scoreless. 

Schooies breaking the deadlock when Nathan Robertson’s shot beat the defence. 1-0 to Schooies. 

Schooies gained possession in their half and quickly sent the ball up the field where Sheree Rice slipped the ball into the net.

Golf Club quickly regrouped and were on the attack. Nic Bensley scoring from a penalty corner. Schooies scored their third when Ella Duncombe caught the defence off guard with her shot. With only minutes remaining Nathan scored again to give Schooies a  4-1 win.

Vets 4 ( Paul Culhane 2, Dimity Taylor 1, Anne Reeves 1, ) def Sprinters 0

Sprinters were on the attack early but scrambling defence from Vets kept them scoreless. Vets started to combine and quickly turned defence into attack, scoring 2 quick goals. 

Sprinters kept trying but were unable to break down Vets defence.

Vets scoring 2 more goals to give them a 4-0 win.

Wollondilly Soldiers Grees (4) defeated Crookwell U13s (0)

Crookwell Griffins (3) drew with Crookwell Reds (3)" "The Crookwell men's teams faced off in a local derby on Saturday.

Both teams were looking to get their seasons back on track after a couple of heavy defeats. 

The game began at a fast pace with most of the play at either end of the field.

Despite this, there were few clear scoring chances for either side in the opening 20 minutes.

The opening goal came from an own goal by the Reds after Luke O'Brien whipped in a dangerous cross for the Griffins. The Reds hit back swiftly with a goal from Luke Cummins and two from Sam Jackson.

After a fairly even first half, the Reds went into the change rooms up by two.

Momentum shifted in the second half toward the Griffins.

They began to get the ball into dangerous positions with Louis MacIntosh and Dan Picker looking dangerous on the counter attack.

The Griffins were rewarded for their efforts with two penalties that were converted by Louis MacIntosh and Duncan Shepherd.

With the score at 3-3, the game opened up as both sides pushed for the wind and fatigue set in. Both sides had opportunities to seal the win but the match finished a draw.

Both sides will now face the top two teams over the next two weekends and will look to put in solid performances in the lead-up to finals.

Both men's teams play at home this weekend from 1-5."
